Thousands of Jazira residents demand leader Ocalan's freedom 

Under the slogan "With the communal spirit and the democratic society, we will live free with the leader Apo," the Kongra Star organized a mass rally in Qamishlo city, in which thousands of residents from Qamishlo, Tirbê Spiyê, Tel Hamis, and Amuda in Jazira region of North and East Syria, along with members of various institutions and organizations, participated. The participants carried pictures of the leader Apo and the flags of the Kongra Star, chanting slogans such as "No Life without the Leader," "Long Live the Imrali Resistance," and "Women, Life, Freedom."

The march began at The Soni Roundabout and continued to al-Shuhadaa (The Martyrs) Roundabout in the city center, where it transformed into a rally, during which the participants held a minute of silence in honor of the martyrs.

Following this, Reihan Loko; the spokesperson for the Kongra Star, delivered a speech on behalf of the women's movements. She stated that today's march is for equality, democracy, and the freedom of leader Abdullah Ocalan. She continued, "The hegemonic regimes have sought to impose their policies on youth, women, and free peoples with a mentality of tyranny, racism, and conspiracy. However, the people and women have waged a great resistance under the leadership of leader Abdullah Ocalan."

She added, "After the historic call of the leader Abdullah Ocalan, Kurdistan and the Middle East have witnessed significant changes and transformations. With the peace process and the establishment of a democratic society, the discourse on the freedom of peoples and women, and the recognition of the Kurdish people's identity, has resurfaced. To lead this process, we must strengthen our organization in neighborhoods, villages, cities, and provinces, and support the leader Abdullah Ocalan. The leader says 'the democratic society,' but we say that the freedom of leader Abdullah Ocalan is the freedom of the democratic society."

Aida Khalil; the administrator in the Women's Council of the Martyrs' Families Council, delivered a speech on behalf of the council, stating, "The Turkish state is hatching vile schemes at the expense of the blood of the region's peoples. They support terrorist organizations under the guise of defending the peoples, but these terrorist organizations and their backers are unaware that the leader emerged in the 21st century to protect these communities. We pledge to continue the struggle until the leader's freedom is achieved."

The march concluded with chants of "No Life without the Leader" and "Women, Life, Freedom."
