The Democratic Society Movement (TEV-DEM) has reaffirmed its commitment to the goals of the July 19 Revolution, which was launched in response to denial and genocide. The movement called for the protection of the revolution’s achievements and resistance against domination projects.

On the 13th anniversary of the July 19 Revolution, TEV-DEM issued a written statement today, reiterating its dedication to the revolution’s goals, which began in 2012 as a response to denial and genocide, aiming to establish a decentralized and democratic Syria.

The movement praised the sacrifices of over 13,000 martyrs, affirming the continuation of the struggle in the face of threats targeting the peoples of North and East Syria and attempts to impose authoritarian regimes and deny cultural diversity.

TEV-DEM called on the peoples of the region to safeguard the revolution’s achievements and continue resisting domination projects, highlighting the role of women and youth in upholding the values of freedom and pluralism.
