A number of residents gathered to confront the group before the situation escalated, with gunfire and a hand grenade targeting the crowd, triggering a state of heightened alert and tension across the town.

No confirmed reports of fatalities or injuries have been recorded so far. Security conditions remain tense, with increased security deployment and residents awaiting further developments.

A similar harassment incident was reported on Sunday in the neighboring village of Toumin, adding to growing concerns among local residents.
