Tel Brak Martyrs' Families Council held its annual meeting

The Martyrs' Families Council in Tel Brak city in Jazira canton held its annual meeting in the hall of the Culture and Arts Center in the city, with the participation of Tel Brak martyrs' families and guests representing civil society organizations in the city.

After standing a minute of silence, Mohamed Jamil, the member of the Martyrs' Families Council in Hasaka city, spoke about the current political situation and the most prominent incidents and developments in the region. Furthermore, he praised the role of the Syrian Democratic Forces and the martyrs of freedom in continuing the struggle and building a democratic society.

Jamil also emphasized adopting the thought and philosophy of the Leader Abdullah Ocalan to serve all societies. He said, "Today, we aspire to build a democratic Syria that embraces all components after the bitter experience our country has gone through. This can be achieved by embracing the thought of the leader who called for democracy, and ensuring participation in building a nation that meets the aspirations of all segments of the Syrian people."

Then, the annual report was read by Bushra al-Heloush, the co-chair of Tel Brak Martyrs' Families Council, as it outlined the organizational situation and the most prominent activities and events organized by the council during the year. After that, the way was opened to the families of martyrs, who were invited to share their opinions, suggestions, and criticisms.

The meeting concluded with the development of a future work plan and the affirmation of the Martyrs' Council and the martyrs' families of the commitment to working together to avoid mistakes and provide a better future for the martyrs' children and families.
