The Yazidi Women's Movement (TAJÊ) announced its program of events for the International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women, observed annually on November 25th, in a written statement.

In its statement, the Movement commemorated all the women who have been martyred in the struggle path, particularly the Mirabal sisters. It reaffirmed its commitment to continuing the struggle until a peaceful and democratic society, guaranteeing freedom and equality, is built.

The statement emphasized that leader Abdullah Ocalan described the 21st century as "the century of women's liberation," explaining that women are the pioneers of this era.

The statement also recalled the March 3, 2014, genocide perpetrated against the Yazidis, especially women, describing it as one of the most horrific massacres in human history.

The Movement concluded its statement by outlining its program of events, which includes seminars and training courses for men, as well as mass marches.
