Syrian Interim Government’s militants commit massacre in rural Deir Hafer

Interim Government perpetrated a massacre against civilians in the countryside of Deir Hafer, east of Aleppo, through drone strikes that targeted a populated village.

The Media Center of the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) issued a statement announcing that the massacre took place in the village of Um Tina in rural Deir Hafer. The attack began with drone strikes, followed by heavy artillery shelling at 7:00 p.m. on Saturday, directly targeting civilian homes.

According to the statement, seven civilians were martyred and four others injured

The martyrs are:

Amina Mohammed al-Azzawi (75)

Fatima Hayya Obeid (65)

Amina Mohammed al-Hamza (22)

Aisha Hamza Obeid (18)

Hamza Obeid al-Razzaq (4)

Abdul Ghani Rahman al-Obeid (1)

Rahaf Hussein al-Azzawi (23)

The injured are:

Jumaa Hamoud al-Muhaysin (60)

Mariam Hamoud al-Muhaysin (55)

Halima Mahmoud al-Muhaysin (65)

Amina Hamoud al-Amoura (20)

The SDF strongly condemned this heinous crime, stressing that it is part of a “long-standing pattern by these factions of deliberately targeting defenseless civilians,” and warning that “the continued impunity has only encouraged further violations.”
