A minimum of 30 were killed in a suicide bombing at a Damascus church after it was utilized with a machine gun.
A suicide bomber exploded himself within Mar Elias Church in the Douweila suburb of Damascus.
Information revealed the bomber in an explosives belt walking into the church itself and shooting a machine gun at the people assembled within before detonating.
Initial reports noted at least 30 were killed as a direct result of the gunfire and explosion.
