Students' vigil condemns attacks on Aleppo, commemorates martyrs

The Students Union in Hasaka city, Jazira canton, organized a vigil on Monday at the Health Institute in the Ghweiran neighborhood of the city, condemning the massacres and atrocities committed by the Turkish-backed mercenaries of the Interim Government in the Sheikh Maqsoud, Ashrafiyeh, and Bani Zeid neighborhoods of Aleppo.

The students from the Anesthesia, Nursing, and Physical Therapy departments of the institute participated in the vigil, chanting slogans denouncing the attacks and praising the resistance of the residents of Sheikh Maqsoud, Ashrafiyeh, and Bani Zeid, affirming their solidarity with them in the face of these aggressions.

The participants also commemorated the martyrs of the resistance who sacrificed their lives defending their land, which they considered their honor, as they refused to abandon it until their last breath, and were a symbol of steadfastness and resistance in the face of the attacks.

The vigil concluded with chants and slogans praising the resistance of Sheikh Maqsoud and the Internal Security Forces, "Long live the Resistance of Sheikh Maqsoud" and "We Are All SDF," amid emphasizing the continued popular and student solidarity with the residents of the two neighborhoods until the attacks are stopped and those responsible are held accountable.
