Siban Hamo to reveal new military plans for eastern Syria

Assistant Minister of Defense for Eastern Region Affairs, Siban Hamo (Samir Oso), said during a special interview to be published by our agency tomorrow that the “Eastern Region” file is witnessing new military arrangements, including the integration process and deployment plans, in addition to discussing the issues of prisoners, martyrs, U.S. bases, and the areas of Afrin, Serekaniye, and Tel Abyad.

Amid the rapid transformations taking place in Syria, the “Eastern Region” file has emerged as one of the most sensitive and complex issues, due to the overlap of military, political, and security factors, and its connection to the future of the Syrian Democratic Forces, the restructuring of Syria’s military institution, border issues, prisoner files, and the return of displaced people.

In this context, Hawar News Agency (ANHA) will publish tomorrow a full interview with the Assistant Minister of Defense in Syria’s interim government for Eastern Region Affairs, Siban Hamo (Samir Oso), covering a number of issues related to the current phase in Syria.

The interview addresses details of the new military divisions, the integration path between the Syrian Democratic Forces and the Ministry of Defense, deployment and repositioning plans, and the ministry’s position on U.S. military bases in Syria.
