SDF: We repel occupation state's attacks on 3 fronts

The Media Center of the Syrian Democratic Forces reported that the fighters of the Manbij and Al-Bab Military Councils, affiliated with the SDF, repelled attacks led by the Turkish occupying forces on three fronts in Manbij.

The center stated: “The forces of the Manbij and Al-Bab Military Councils, affiliated with the Syrian Democratic Forces, are confronting fierce attacks launched by the Turkish occupying state and its mercenaries on the eastern, western, and southern fronts of Manbij for the past two days.”

It added: “Over the past two days and until this moment, the Turkish occupying army and its mercenaries have launched intense attacks using drones and heavy artillery, attempting to advance on the villages of Tal Aswad, Jab Makhzoum, Al-Houta, Jableh Al-Hamra, and Tal Turin. These attacks are coordinated through a joint operations room led by officers from the occupying army and its mercenaries.”

It continued: “In the face of these comprehensive and ongoing attacks, our forces in the military councils are showing remarkable resistance, repelling and thwarting all attacks, killing dozens of mercenaries and injuring others.”

It affirmed: “These attacks, aimed at occupying the region and destabilizing it, are part of a new occupation plan that Turkey is attempting to implement within Syrian territory. Our forces emphasize their right to defend the people of the region and confront all attacks.”
