The SDF issued a statement, published today by its media center on its official website, stating that the Turkish occupation state and its mercenaries escalated their attacks on North and East Syria on Friday.

The statement added: "On the Tishrin Dam front, Turkish occupation warplanes continued launching a series of airstrikes on the Tishrin Dam countryside, coinciding with heavy artillery shelling.

The airstrikes began throughout the night of Thursday into Friday and continued until 5:00 AM on Friday. Additionally, artillery bombardment targeted workers' housing and its surroundings, causing material damage.

Under the cover of aerial and artillery bombardment, the mercenaries of the Turkish occupation launched an attack on one of our forces' positions near 'Syriatel' hill. Our fighters repelled them, leading to clashes that resulted in the death of one mercenary.

The mercenaries also launched another attack from the 'Abu Qalqal – Syriatel Hill' axis, which our fighters successfully thwarted after intense clashes, killing four mercenaries and injuring five others, while the rest fled.

A third attack was launched from the village of Al-Atshanah, which was also repelled. Three mercenaries were killed in the ensuing clashes.

On the Qereqozaqê front, villages around the bridge were subjected to intense and random shelling with heavy artillery, tanks, rocket launchers, and mortars. The shelling targeted the villages of 'Al-Tina, Jadda, Bir Hasso, Ghasaq, Dikan, Malha, and Al-San'a' as well as the 'Sifi' and ‘Qereqozaqê’ hills. More than 90 shells were fired, causing significant material damage to civilians' homes and properties.

Meanwhile, Turkish warplanes and drones conducted continuous flights over Kobani and its countryside, as well as Ain Issa, throughout Friday.

The total number of Turkish occupation mercenaries killed on Friday reached eight, while five others were wounded."
