SDF thwart ISIS attack in Deir ez-Zor countryside

The Media Center of the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) published today a news on its official website about thwarting an ISIS attack on a military post in the eastern countryside of Deir ez-Zor: 

 "On the evening of Friday, our forces successfully thwarted an ISIS terrorist attack targeting one of our military points in the town of Al-Bahra, Deir ez-Zor’s eastern countryside.
Using a vehicle, the terrorist cell opened fire on our military point. However, thanks to the vigilance and high readiness of our fighters, the attack was thwarted. Our forces immediately responded to the source of the fire, resulting in a direct clash with the terrorists. Several terrorists were confirmed wounded, and the attacking vehicle fled the area. Two of our fighters sustained minor injuries.
Following the terrorist attack, our forces launched a wide-scale combing operation to pursue the attackers.
We reaffirm our commitment to continuing the mission of pursuing ISIS remnants, dismantling their operational capabilities, and preventing them from regrouping or threatening the security and stability of the region."
