SDF thwart attacks by Turkish occupation state on multiple fronts

In a statement, the SDF Media Center confirmed that the forces successfully repelled all attacks launched by the Turkish occupation and its mercenaries across all fronts on Monday.

The statement read:

"On the Tishrin Dam front, warplanes continued to carry out a series of airstrikes around the dam, in conjunction with heavy artillery shelling. The mercenaries attempted to launch an attack on our positions under the cover of airstrikes and artillery bombardment, but our fighters repelled them, leading to intense clashes that resulted in the killing and wounding of several mercenaries, though their exact numbers remain unknown.

The mercenaries also made another attempt using suicide drones. However, our fighters successfully thwarted the attack and shot down four drones.

On the Qereqozaqê Bridge front, the village of 'Al-Tina,' near the bridge, was subjected to multiple airstrikes by Turkish occupation warplanes. Additionally, the occupation forces and their mercenaries indiscriminately shelled the villages of 'Al-Tina, Jadda, Bir Hasso, Ghasaq, Dikan, Malha, and Al-San'’ as well as the 'Sifi' and Qereqozaqê hills with heavy artillery, tanks, multiple rocket launchers, and mortar shells. More than 110 shells were fired, causing significant material damage to homes and civilian property.

Amid the aerial and artillery bombardment, mercenaries launched several attacks on our positions, but our fighters repelled them. Clashes erupted, resulting in the killing of two mercenaries and the injury of several others, as well as the disabling of two of their vehicles. Our fighters also thwarted another attack on the Qereqozaqê Bridge axis, engaging in clashes that led to further casualties among the mercenaries, though their exact numbers are unknown. During these clashes, two surveillance cameras and a mercenary outpost used for launching attacks against our forces were destroyed. On the northwestern axis of the bridge, clashes broke out following an attack by the mercenaries, leading to the killing and wounding of several of them, while the rest fled the battlefield.

On the Deir Hafer front, mercenaries launched an attack from the village of 'Al-Imam' on one of our positions. Our fighters repelled the attack, resulting in clashes that left several mercenaries dead or wounded, and one of their vehicles was destroyed. Additionally, some mercenaries attempted to infiltrate our positions, but our fighters' vigilance foiled the attempt. Two mercenaries were captured, while the rest fled.

The Turkish occupation and its mercenaries also shelled the vicinity of 'Shikhlir/Al-Shuyukh' with heavy weapons, causing material damage. Meanwhile, Turkish warplanes continued to fly over the area.

Additionally, Turkish warplanes and drones conducted intensive reconnaissance flights over Ain Issa and its countryside throughout the day."
