The Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) received a delegation from the Interim Government in the city of Tabqa.

During the meeting, the two sides discussed several issues, most notably the recent tensions around the Sheikh Maqsoud and Ashrafiyeh neighborhoods in Aleppo, emphasizing peaceful solutions to preserve stability.

According to a statement released today by the SDF Media Center, an SDF military committee welcomed the delegation in Tabqa. The discussions focused on ways to address the tensions around Sheikh Maqsoud and Ashrafiyeh through peaceful means that ensure the safety and stability of residents and prevent any field escalation.

The statement added that, as a goodwill gesture, the SDF released several detainees who were members of the Damascus government forces and had been captured in different areas during the past period.

During the meeting, the SDF reaffirmed its commitment to peaceful solutions, maintaining stability, and protecting civilians across all regions.
