SDF leaders discuss military integration with Transitional Govt. in Damascus

The leadership of the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) is discussing the military integration process with officials in the Syrian Transitional Government.

Military sources reported that the leadership of the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) traveled to Damascus on Sunday to continue discussions with the Syrian Transitional Government regarding military integration at the level of military committees.

According to the information, the delegation includes SDF Commander-in-Chief Mazloum Abdi, SDF General Command member Suzdar Haji, and SDF General Command member Sipan Hamo.

A while ago, the SDF Media Center reported that the SDF leadership is currently discussing the military integration file with officials from the Syrian Transitional Government, following their arrival in Damascus.

Brigadier General Kevin J. Lambert, Commander of Operation Inherent Resolve, is also attending the meeting between the two sides.

The SDF had announced on December 29th the postponement of its military committee's visit to Damascus for technical reasons, confirming that it would take place at a later date.
