SDC's Al-Muslat: Achievement aspirations of Syrians is our priorities

The new Co-Chair of the Syrian Democratic Council (SDC), Mahmoud Al-Muslat affirmed: “We will live up to the expectations of the Syrian people and do our best to find appropriate solutions to the Syrian crisis.”

During the fourth conference of SDC, a new joint presidency was elected, represented by Mahmoud Al-Musalat and Laila Qaraman.

Al-Muslat, in his first statement following his election said: “Today we witnessed a great democratic occasion, in this wonderful carnival.”

Al-Muslat hoped that Syria's future would be better, noting that they were trying as much as possible to work as a team. He also thanked the efforts of the previous team of the Syrian Democratic Council.

Al-Muslat stressed: “We will live up to the expectations of the people of Syria. The solution to the Syrian crisis will only be Syrian-Syrian, without any external interference.” He added: “We will communicate with all friendly countries in order to find solutions to the Syrian crisis."

The Co-Chair of SDC, Mahmoud Al-Musalat, expressed his optimism after holding the fourth conference, and said: “We are all hopeful about the existing team, and we will do our best to find solutions to the Syrian crisis.”
