Russian air strikes on mercenary sites in Idlib countryside

Today, a Russian warplane carried out 3 air strikes on the military headquarters of the “Tahrir al-Sham” and “Ansar al-Tawhid” mercenaries in the village of Mashoun in Jabal al-Zawiya, south of Idlib, with no information received about deaths or injuries so far, according to what the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights reported.

The Russian Reconciliation Center in Syria had previously said that Russian forces carried out air attacks on a drone warehouse belonging to the Turkish occupation mercenaries in Idlib.

During the past 48 hours, Russian warplanes bombed, with 16 air strikes, a stone quarry in the White River area and the vicinity of a military headquarters near the village of Al-Shughr in the Jisr al-Shughur countryside, and military headquarters for Tahrir Al-Sham mercenaries in the Ain Shayb forest in the Idlib countryside, and the Kabana hills in the Latakia countryside.

Thus, the number of Russian air strikes since the beginning of November, in less than a week, has risen to 24.

It is noteworthy that last October, Russian aircraft carried out 151 air strikes, 121 of which were within Idlib, 23 within the Latakia countryside, and 7 in the Al-Ghab Plain within the Hama countryside, where Russian warplanes began their air sorties since October 6, one day after targeting the millitary collegen in Homs.

The warplanes targeted about 30 sites in the so-called “De-escalation” zone (civilian and military positions), killing 9 people, including 3 children, in addition to wounding 35 others with varying injuries.
