Citizens from al- Jazira region expressed their rejection of the continuous attacks by the Turkish occupying state on the North and East Syria region, considering them crimes for which the international powers bear responsibility.

The region of North and East Syria is continuously subjected to aerial and ground attacks by the Turkish occupying state, which since 2022 have shifted to directly targeting and destroying infrastructure.

Citizen Saleh Mohimid from the city of Tel Kocher: "The attacks by the Turkish occupation state on the region of North and East Syria are neither new nor coincidental.

Since the beginning of the Syrian crisis, their goal has been to strike the Democratic Nation project and eliminate the autonomous administration, which has proven to be the only entity working for the people's interest and calling for a peaceful solution to the Syrian crisis."

He added: "Turkey is suffering from internal crises on both the political and economic fronts, and to escape these crises and find a way out, it is working to export them abroad, by targeting the regions of North and East Syria or intervening in neighboring countries, to show the outside world and its people that it is the strongest country. However, its defeat continues against the strikes of the guerrillas and the SDF, which reveals the falsity of its claims."

Saleh affirmed: "We, the people of North and East Syria, who were raised in the school of leader Abdullah Ocalan and chose the path of resistance from the beginning, will not retreat until we achieve our goals of building a democratic Syria for all Syrians."

For her part, Dalia Youssef from Tel Kocher said: "The goal of the Turkish occupying state in its constant targeting of the region's infrastructure is to follow a policy of starvation, to create a rift between the components and the autonomous administration, to undermine the administration from within and destroy it, after it has repeatedly tried and failed to play on the discord between the components."

Dalal Youssef from Tel Kocher continued her speech, saying: "We are vigilant, steadfast, and united against its strikes." And no matter how hard it tries, it will not succeed. We will remain united around our administration and solve our internal crises ourselves. We will not allow anyone to play on the strings of creating a rift between us and our administration. We will endure hunger and hardships, and we will not leave our land to the occupation.

As for Faraj al-Din from Çilaxa, he said: "The Turkish occupation state is trying to target the infrastructure in the North and East Syria region through its aggression to scare the people, but its calculations are as fake and flimsy as its excuses." We have sacrificed thousands of martyrs to protect our dignity and land, and it is impossible for us to be afraid or submit to him.

He added: "We will continue to preserve the gains of our martyrs and strive until we achieve the goals for which they sacrificed and were martyred, which is the establishment of a Syria based on democracy, peace, and love."

Fatima Asaf from Çilaxa also condemned the Turkish occupation state's attacks on the region of North and East Syria, and in response to these attacks, she said: "The more Turkey attacks, the more we cling to our land, and our determination to protect it increases. With our unity and solidarity, we, the components—Arabs, Kurds, Syriacs, and Circassian will repel the occupation." We will defeat the occupation.

And she affirmed: "Death is better than humiliation, and this is the path of our resistance, and we will continue on it." "Either we live free in a free homeland, or we die for that."

The Turkish occupying state launched a new aggression against the infrastructure of the North and East Syria region on November 24th, carrying out approximately 1,031 strikes using drones, warplanes, and mortar shells. It resulted in significant destruction of service and vital facilities.

And the martyrdom of 17 people and the injury of no less than 65 others. It also caused the deprivation of more than 150,000 families from electricity and water services due to the power outage at the stations and the stoppage of about 604 drinking water wells.
