Residents: strengthening Kurdish unity is essential to confront challenges

Amid the rapid developments in the region and ongoing attempts to provoke divisions among communities, a number of residents of Girkê Legê city they stressed that the current phase requires greater awareness and cohesion to preserve Kurdish unity. They pointed out that some parties are trying to exploit the current circumstances to sow discord and weaken social cohesion, but the awareness of the people and their commitment to unity form a strong barrier against such attempts.

In this context, citizen Suhaila Barakat said that recently they have noticed an increase in rhetoric and attempts aimed at creating divisions within society. She emphasized that these efforts seek to weaken Kurdish unity and destabilize the region, stressing that maintaining unity is the foundation for protecting society at this stage.

She added that the people of the region understand the importance of solidarity, and that the current phase requires everyone to act with awareness and a sense of responsibility to preserve social unity.

She affirmed that the people reject all attempts to spread discord among them, and that society is capable of overcoming such challenges by maintaining unity and strengthening solidarity among its members.

For his part, citizen Azad Mashu stated that the strength of the people lies in their cohesion and unity, noting that efforts to create division will not succeed in the face of public awareness and determination to remain united.

He added that history has proven Kurdish unity has always been a source of strength in confronting challenges, emphasizing that preserving unity today is more important than ever.

He also pointed out that current conditions require everyone to avoid anything that may provoke division or deepen internal conflicts within society.

Meanwhile, citizen Khabat Akram said that preserving Kurdish unity is a responsibility shared by all at this stage, stressing that social awareness is the most important factor in confronting attempts to sow discord among the people.

She concluded by emphasizing that social unity and strengthening national cohesion are the main guarantees for maintaining stability in the region, affirming that they will remain committed to their unity in the face of all attempts targeting the social fabric.
