The participants raised leader Ocalan’s images and chanted slogans such as “No life without the Leader,” emphasizing that achieving global peace is contingent upon securing the leader’s release.

The rally included a minute of silence to honor fallen martyrs, followed by speeches delivered by representatives of political parties and civil society organizations. In a speech on behalf of the Democratic Union Party (PYD), Talat Younis, alongside a statement from the Kongra Star delivered by Berivan Omar, underscored that responding to leader Ocalan’s calls for peace and a democratic society is dependent on his physical freedom, without which no meaningful progress or resolution can be achieved.

Shaha Khalil, co-chair of the organizational office of the Democratic Society Movement (TEV-DEM), further emphasized that World Peace Day occurs amidst ongoing global conflicts, displacement, and violence.

She highlighted that the leader represents a philosophy of peace and the establishment of a democratic society, pledging to continue the struggle until his release is secured.

The raaly concluded with participants chanting slogans reaffirming their commitment to leader's philosophy and vowing to follow his path until freedom and peace are realized.
