Residents of Ain Issa condemn massacres committed in Sheikh Maqsoud-Ashrafieh

The horrific crimes committed by the mercenaries of the interim government affiliated with the Turkish occupation in the neighborhoods of Sheikh Maqsoud and Ashrafieh crimes that rise to the level of war crimes and crimes against humanity have left a profound impact on Syrians, who have coexisted together on this land for hundreds of years.

In this context, citizen Madina Muslim praised the heroic resistance waged by the Internal Security Forces in the two neighborhoods against the war and killing machine directed at the people of Sheikh Maqsoud and Ashrafieh over a period of six days. She noted that the mercenaries committed the most heinous crimes against civilians, including killing and shelling residential neighborhoods with artillery.

Madina Muslim also condemned the international silence regarding these crimes, stating that they remind them of what ISIS mercenaries used to do during their control of the region.

Citizen Mohammad Mahmoud, for his part, denounced the targeting of hospitals filled with wounded people by the mercenaries, stressing that such practices violate moral values and international laws. He expressed his astonishment at how the army of a state could throw the bodies of martyrs from buildings and mock them.

Meanwhile, citizen Hadla Haj Muslim condemned the crime of mutilating the bodies of martyrs who were defending their people in Sheikh Maqsoud and Ashrafieh, as well as terrorizing children, women, and residents by shelling the area with various types of weapons. She also denounced the international silence and that of human rights organizations regarding these crimes.
