Representatives of political parties visit sites targeted by Turkish occupation in Kobani

On Saturday, a delegation of representatives of political parties and forces in the Euphrates canton visited; Sites targeted by the Turkish occupation in the city of Kobani.

The delegation began its tour by visiting the Mashta al Nour Health Center, which was targeted 5 times in a row by drones on the 25th of last December, causing it to go out of service, knowing that it was providing services to hundreds of patients on a daily basis.

During the tour, Health Authority administrators spoke to the delegation about the importance of the health center and the goal of the Turkish state in targeting it, stressing that worsening the living situation is the main goal.

The first speech was delivered by Kilo Issa, a member of the Central Committee of the Kurdish Democratic Party in Syria, in which he called on the Kurdish parties to unite and stand up to the attacks of the Turkish occupation state.

Issa pointed out that the goal of the Turkish occupation state has become clear to everyone, which is to exterminate the peoples of the region, so it is intensifying its attacks on the infrastructure of the Autonomous Administration areas, in the hope that it will achieve its goals.

Mustafa Khalil, a member of the leadership of the Unity Party, also gave a speech in which he pointed out that they are seeking to convey the voice of the resistant people in Kobani to the outside world on the anniversary of the liberation of Kobani from ISIS/Daesh, and that they are calling on the free people of the world to stand up to the Turkish killing machine and the systematic destruction it is pursuing in order to eliminate the will of the people, pointing out that resistance is the hope of the people.

After that, the delegation of the political parties went to the power station that supplies the city of Kobani and 300 other villages, which was destroyed by the occupation’s aerial bombardment. The administrators at the power station indicated the need to repair the faults as soon as possible and that they were facing great difficulties in securing parts to maintain the station.

In its attacks on the North and East Syria, the Turkish occupation state targeted power stations, vital facilities, schools and mills in an effort to eliminate all means of life in the region.
