The member of the Political Bureau of the Syrian National Party, Daham Al -Sattam considered the Damascus forces attacks on Deir ez-Zor coincide with the Turkish bombing on the region to fuel the conflict, deepen the Syrian crisis and the suffering of the Syrians.

On the other hand, Al -Sattam linked these attacks to attempts to pressure the international coalition led by the United States of America to withdraw, in conjunction with the escalation of Iran's allies on the American forces with the start of the war between Israel and Hamas.

He noted this type of attack indicates the multiplicity of loyalties and major divisions in the forces of the Damascus government.

He warned of the dangers of these attacks, stressing that it "threatens to return terrorism, create an incubator for extremism and polarization, threaten civil and societal peace, and change the structure of society, not to mention the demographic change, create chaos, an incubating environment for drugs, crime, terrorism, the return of tyranny, and huge displacement waves."

He believes that the Damascus government and its forces must abandon the security and military mentality and recognize the rights of the Syrians, and believe that Syria is not the same as before, stressing that the way for this is dialogue with the Democratic Autonomous Administration.

"The existing international balances do not allow your tragedies to end, that stage is conducive to dialogue on national projects" Daham Al -Sattam concluded.
