Rally in Tal Tamr in support of global campaign for leader Ocalan freedom

The Center for Culture and Art in the Tal Tamr district and the Golden Crescent Movement organized an event in solidarity with the global campaign that was launched on October 10 under the slogan “Freedom for Leader Abdullah Ocalan, the political solution for the Kurdish issue.”

Members of civil institutions, representatives of political parties, and the people of the district participated in the event organized today in the tent hall by the Center for Culture and Art in the Tal Tamr and the Golden Crescent Movement.

The event began with a statement read by the center’s administrator, Rasha Allo.

The statement stressed, "We express our solidarity and support for the campaign launched for the freedom of the leader, because if the leader is not freed, peace will not be achieved in the Middle East."

Then, members of the Culture and Art Center in the Tal Tamr presented a theatrical performance entitled “The Torch of Freedom,” which talked about the resistance to Amed prison, in addition to the member of the Union of Intellectuals in the Tal Tamr, Hussein Mamo, reciting poetic verses about the resistance to the leader Abdullah Ocalan.

The event ended with the Shorsh Singing Band, affiliated with the Center for Culture and Art, presenting some songs about the leader.
