The conference is currently taking place under the slogan "The Philosophy of Woman, Life, Freedom: Guaranteeing the Ethical, Political, and Democratic Council."

Approximately 400 members and delegates from North and East Syria, Syria, and abroad are attending the conference, including representatives from the Women's Protection Units (YPJ), the Autonomous Administration of North and East Syria, the Movement for a Democratic Society (TEV-DEM), the Syrian Democratic Council, and Kongra Star.

The conference began with a minute of silence, followed by a speech from the PYD co-chair, Asya Abdullah, who congratulated the attendees on the convening of the conference. She remarked, "Yesterday marked the third anniversary of the martyrdom of leader Sawsan Birhat, and during this conference, we remember our leaders, fighters, and activists with deep respect and honor."

She added, "To preserve our own identity and protect our history as women, by adhering to the philosophy of Woman, Life, Freedom, we salute Leader Abdullah Ocalan  and condemn the severe isolation imposed on him. We, in the Democratic Union Party, especially the Women's Council, must intensify our struggle to break the isolation imposed on Leader Ocalan."

Asya Abdullah noted, "On a global and Kurdistan level, with this revolution that women participate in and which has become known by their name, we must stand against anti-woman policies, the authoritarian and capitalist crisis, which seeks to end and erase women's history. To counter these, we must adopt the slogan 'Woman, Life, Freedom.'"

She emphasized that the achievements of women in the region, and across Kurdistan, have laid strong foundations and made history. Today, we can protect women and ourselves, as free women stand against their enemies and resist to live with their identity, in accordance with the project of democratic nationhood and the philosophy of Leader Abdullah Ocalan.

In conclusion, Asya Abdullah stressed, "We, as women, must unite to protect ourselves and our people, stand against occupation and demographic change in the region, and safeguard our women's revolution, which was led by free and organized women."

Following this, the PYD Women's Council honored the Women's Council of the Martyrs' Families Council, after which evaluations by Leader Abdullah Ocalan were read, and a video presentation was shown, highlighting the activities of the Women's Council over the past two years.

The conference proceedings continue with discussions on the council's work mechanisms, with expected changes in the council's operation and the election of General Council members, along with a series of recommendations.
