HRANA reported that the protests in East Kurdistan and Iran have so far resulted in the deaths of nearly 7,000 people and the arrest of approximately 53,000 protesters.

The Human Rights Activists News Agency (HRANA) published a report detailing the latest toll of protests in East Kurdistan and Iran. HRANA reported that since the start of the protests in East Kurdistan and Iran, 6,982 people have been killed, 11,022 protesters have been injured, and 52,622 have been arrested.

According to HRANA's report, among the total number of the killed were 6,490 protesters, 215 children, and 65 civilians who did not participate in the protests, in addition to 214 members of the Iranian regime forces.

HRANA further stated that 135 university students were arrested, 11,051 people were summoned to security centers, and 335 people were forced to confess under torture.
