Through struggle, martyrs' sacrifices, we to thwart all conspiracies

The Tirbê Spiyê City Council held a large meeting for the residents at the Democratic Union Party (PYD) hall to discuss the international conspiracy that targeted the Kurdish people in the personality of the leader Abdullah Ocalan, and its ongoing repercussions. Members of political parties and civil organizations, along with residents of the city participated in the meeting.

The meeting began with holding a minute of silence, followed by a speech delivered by PYD administrator Amal Selo. She stated that several countries, particularly international powers, had orchestrated a conspiracy against the leader Abdullah Ocalan in an attempt to end the Kurdish issue in Kurdistan, and deepen conflict and division in the Middle East.

She added that through his long struggle, the leader Abdullah Ocalan had established the principles of peace and democracy in the region and, with his liberationist ideology, had thwarted this conspiracy despite the severe isolation imposed on him in prison and the ongoing war against the Kurdish people.

Amal also made clear that this conspiracy continues to this day, and that colonial powers, foremost among them the Turkish occupation, constantly seek to ignite wars and exterminate the indigenous populations of the region in order to perpetuate their colonial policies in accordance with international interests.

At the conclusion of the meeting, the floor was opened for discussion, during which the participants affirmed that their ongoing struggle, following in the footsteps of the martyrs and the ideology of the leader Abdullah Ocalan, will foil all conspiracies targeting the Kurdish people.
