Protesters at Tishrin Dam: We will protect dam from destruction and occupation

The resistance of the people of North and East Syria continues to protect Tishrin Dam from attacks by the Turkish occupation forces and their mercenaries. Women from the city of Tabqa, who are taking part in the sit-ins at the dam, expressed their stance on the Turkish occupation’s attacks.

Sally Assaf emphasized that the dam belongs to them, and they will not abandon it. She said, "We, Arab and Kurdish women, salute the resistance of the Syrian Democratic Forces. For seven years, since our areas were liberated, we have lived in security and peace, gaining all our rights. We will remain steadfast until the end."

Barin Mamo highlighted that the people's resistance and strong will to protect the dam will defeat the Turkish occupation and its mercenaries.

Meanwhile, Najlaa Al-Issa stated that Tishrin Dam is a vital source of water and electricity for the people of the region. "That is why we are protecting it from occupation and its mercenaries, and we will continue our resistance," she said.

Similarly, Layla Al-Abed affirmed that she and the people of the region are fully prepared to defend Tishrin Dam against attacks by the occupation. Majida Al-Hussein added, "We will continue our resistance from this stronghold of defiance. The dam belongs to the Syrians, and they built it. We will not allow the occupiers and their mercenaries to destroy and seize it."
