Families of prisoners and residents of Hasaka city demanded the immediate release of their sons in front of the governorate building in the city, and affirmed that protests will continue until this is achieved.

Families of prisoners and residents of Hasaka city held a protest on Tuesday in front of the governorate building, demanding the release of their sons detained by the Interim Government.

Dozens of relatives of the prisoners and city residents participated in the protest, holding banners with "We demand the release of the prisoners; freedom is an inalienable right," "Our prisoners are not just numbers; our prisoners are souls awaiting freedom," and "I want my imprisoned brother" written on.

The protesters chanted slogans demanding the release of the detainees, including, "We want our prisoners," "We want our sons," "We want our heroes," and "We want our fighters," and affirmed that their demands will continue until their release is achieved.
