Preparation for census in Euphrates Canton 

Today, the Planning and Statistics Office in the Euphrates Canton held a public meeting in the city of Ain Issa in preparation for the upcoming comprehensive census.

The meeting, held in the council hall of Ain Issa City, was attended by the co-chairs of the communes and the teams assigned by the council to carry out the census, which include teachers, institution employees, and volunteers from the local community.

During the meeting, Masoud Bouzi, the co-chair of the Planning and Statistics Office in the Euphrates Canton, explained how to fill out the questionnaires and provide the required information transparently by all relevant parties.

Masoud indicated that the population census will be launched on August 30 and will last for only one day.

Afterwards, those tasked with conducting the census took an oath to perform their duties with full transparency and integrity.

The co-chair of the Planning and Statistics Office told ANHA agency that the purpose of the census is to collect a comprehensive database for the Euphrates Canton, covering all its cities and towns, in order to develop future plans for resource management based on the census data.
