In its attacks on North and East Syria, the Turkish occupation state seeks to obstruct the Autonomous Administration’s efforts to establish security and stability and provide solutions to the Syrian crisis, especially with its approval of a new social contract that was welcomed by many Syrian political parties. This is how members of political parties in Syria evaluate the recent escalation.

Member of the General Council of the Democratic Union Party, Mahmoud Jammo, does not see the Turkish occupation state’s intensification of its attacks on North and East Syria and its targeting of infrastructure, coinciding with the peoples of the region finishing approving a new social contract, as a coincidence, stressing that it is an attempt to stop the wheel of development of self-administration.

He pointed to the hypocrisy of the Turkish occupation state regarding what it declares and undertakes, considering it a policy of genocide practiced against the peoples of North and East Syria, and a war crime for which it must be held accountable, recalling the targeting of infrastructure and vital installations that the region is exposed to.

For her part, the head of the organization office in the Future Syria Party Council, Asiya Hussein, pointed out another goal that the Turkish occupation state seeks through its attacks, which is to displace the Syrians from their areas with the aim of occupying them, by targeting the Syrians’ livelihood sources and the region’s infrastructure, in addition to her agreement on the above in an interview, Mahmoud Jammo.

The head of the organization office of the Future Syria Party, Adnan Khalifa, sees the escalation of the Turkish occupation state as a continuation of the policy pursued regarding the democratic nation project translated on the ground through AANES, and to limit the development of the project and the expansion of its application on Syrian soil and in neighboring countries.

He stated the party's position of rejecting any external interference in Syrian affairs and the occupation of Syrian lands, especially Turkey, stressing their adherence to their existing self-administration project that aims to strengthen national cohesion on Syrian lands and end the Syrian crisis in accordance with the aspirations of the Syrians.

While a member of the Idlib Council of the Future Syria Party, Abdul Qader Al-Hussein, considered the continuation and escalation of attacks targeting infrastructure amid international silence, a conspiracy against the peoples of North and East Syria and their experience in AANES based on the democratic nation project, supported by capitalist countries intended to thwart the project.

He ruled out the possibility of the conspiring parties achieving their goal, given the strong national unity formed in North and East Syria, their adherence to their existing administrative model of AANES, and the willingness of the peoples of the region to sacrifice everything they possess in order to preserve the gains achieved under them, through the Syrian Democratic Forces and their political struggle.
