A delegation from the Peoples’ Equality and Democracy Party (DEM) and the Democratic Regions Party (DBP) is heading today to Rojava via South Kurdistan to hold meetings with political parties and actors.

The Peoples’ Equality and Democracy Party (DEM) announced that its co-chair, Tülay Hatimoğulları, and the co-chair of the Democratic Regions Party (DBP), Keskin Bayındır, will travel today to Rojava accompanied by several MPs and representatives of civil society organizations.

In a statement, the party said the delegation includes DEM MP for Van and spokesperson of the Democratic Unity Initiative, Gülcan Kaçmaz Sayyiğit, Mersin MP Ali Bozan, as well as representatives of trade unions and civil organizations.

The statement noted that the delegation will head to the Autonomous Administration regions via South Kurdistan, where it is scheduled to hold a series of meetings with representatives of political parties and influential forces in the region.
