The Initiative for the Physical Freedom of Leader Abdullah Öcalan in the Euphrates region issued a statement to the public today, Tuesday, in which it considered the Kurdistan Workers' Party (PKK) as the source of revival for the Kurdish people who were facing the threat of genocide, on the 46th anniversary of the founding of the PKK.

The Physical Freedom Initiative for Leader Abdullah Ocalan in the Euphrates region issued a statement to the public today, Tuesday, in which it considered the Kurdistan Workers' Party (PKK) as the source of the revival of the Kurdish people who were facing the threat of genocide, on the 46th anniversary of the founding of the PKK.

And the statement reads:

"We commemorate the 46th anniversary of the founding of the Kurdistan Workers' Party. The establishment of the Kurdistan Workers' Party came at a time when the need for genuine ideological and intellectual leadership increased, laying the scientific foundations and principles for building a democratic social and national liberation revolution based on women's freedom, through an analytical study and historical strategy conducted by leader Abdullah Ocalan with a group of his comrades."

Leader Abdullah Ocalan and the Kurdistan Workers' Party (PKK) presented their perspectives on the global crisis and the unresolved issues and conflicts affecting the world, in addition to addressing the Kurdish issue and the ongoing crises and conflicts in the Middle East, particularly the crisis and war in Syria.

The party has been waging an armed struggle for over 40 years, and the Kurds in the four parts of Kurdistan have gained some of their rights due to this struggle, which evolved from a struggle in the mountains of Kurdistan to a social, political, and military struggle in all Kurdish regions against the policy of genocide against them, marking the first significant development in the Kurdish issue after a century of setbacks.

The Workers' Party has become the source of revival for the Kurdish people, who were living under the threat of genocide. It is considered a beacon of hope for millions of Kurds and has become a humanitarian and international movement against all policies of genocide, racism, and dirty wars, earning the respect of millions of people.

The model of the Democratic Nation proposed by the leader is now seen as a force for solution for humanity. The Rojava Freedom Revolution, where the ideas of leader Abdullah Ocalan live on, must be supported, in addition to the campaign (Freedom for Leader Abdullah Ocalan, Political Solution for the Kurdish Issue) with determination.

In conclusion, we in the Initiative for the Physical Freedom of Leader Abdullah Ocalan in the Euphrates region, see that the system of torture and extermination in Imrali is a historical international injustice against the peoples of the Middle East and the free peoples of the world represented by Leader Abdullah Ocalan. Therefore, it is requested that there be international efforts to liberate the leader from Imrali.
