People of Kobani call for leader's physical freedom

Within the activities organized in NE Syria under the slogan “Freedom for Leader Abdullah Ocalan, the political solution to the Kurdish issue,” in support of the global campaign “Freedom for Abdullah Ocalan, the political solution to the Kurdish issue,” the Syrian Revolutionary Youth Movement organized a demonstration in the Shiran of Kobani.

The demonstration began in front of Shiran School towards the building of the Martyrs' Families Council in which participants raised pictures of Leader Abdullah Ocalan, the flags of the Democratic Society Movement and the Syrian Revolutionary Youth Movement.

The demonstration turned into a mass stand, which began with a minute of silence in honor of the souls of the martyrs.

The Co-chair of the Democratic Union Party office in the district, Fatima Othman, affirmed their continued struggle against the policy of isolation imposed in Imrali, and said: “As the Leader Abdullah Ocalan represents the hope of the Kurdish people, so we will escalate our struggle until we achieve the physical freedom of Leader.”

The demonstration ended with chanting the slogan, “Long live Commander Ocalan.”
