The residents of Raqqa and Deir ez-Zor gathered at the Fursan Roundabout in Raqqa city before heading towards Tishrin Dam to join the protest on the dam’s structure. The delegation from Tabqa is scheduled to join them in the town of Al-Mahmoudli in northern Tabqa.

Since January 8, residents of the North and East Syria region have been protesting at Tishrin Dam to protect it from Turkish occupation attacks, demanding an end to the assaults and ensuring the dam’s stability.

Currently, hundreds of residents from the Jazera Canton are protesting at Tishrin Dam, having taken over the vigil from the Euphrates Canton's residents a few days ago.
