One security member killed, 6 others injured in security incidents across Syria

A series of separated incidents in Syria resulted in the death of one security member and the injury of five others from the ranks of the Ministry of Defense in the interim government, in addition to the injury of a civilian.

One security member was killed and five others were wounded from the Ministry of Defense of the Syrian interim government, along with another civilian youth, on Tuesday in separate incidents.

According to local sources, the first of these incidents occurred in al-Duweir in the eastern countryside of Deir ez-Zor, where clashes broke out between interim government forces and an armed group. The clashes resulted in the injury of five personnel affiliated with the interim government.

In the second incident, a member of the interim government’s Ministry of Defense was killed after being targeted by gunfire from unidentified gunmen in the city of Al-Rai in the northern countryside of Aleppo, as shown in footage circulated by local activists.

In a related context, Sources told ANHA agency that a young man was seriously injured while attempting to intervene to break up a fight between two individuals in Al-Fardous neighborhood of Aleppo city, where he was stabbed in the neck with a sharp weapon.
