A mass grave containing more than 1,200 bodies was found in the city of Homs, marking the sixth such discovery in Syria since the fall of Bashar al-Assad's regime.

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights reported that a mass grave was found in the city of Homs containing more than 1,200 bodies, believed to be of people who were detained in previous periods under Bashar al-Assad's regime, and their identities have not yet been determined. According to the information, the bodies were coming from the Homs military hospital to be buried in the city of Homs. 

 The Syrian Observatory considered these graves the largest witness to the violations that were practiced against detainees in Syria under the rule of Bashar al-Assad's regime, which include victims from various groups, especially those who were arrested on political charges or for opposing the regime.

 The total number of mass graves discovered according to the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights since the fall of Bashar al-Assad has reached 6 mass graves, containing the remains of 1,455 victims.
