Niyaz: Turkey -PKD prepares scenarios against Guerrilla

The Middle East affairs specialist from Southern Kurdistan, Niyaz Hamid, spoke to ANHA agency about the impact of the operations of People Defense Forces fighters, and the plans of the Turkish occupation state towards the Mediya Defense areas and other areas in Southern Kurdistan.

'Guerilla operations had a huge impact on the world'

Regarding the operations carried out by the Guerilla during the years 2023-2024, Niyaz Hamid said that they had great resonance and success, and said: “The Guerilla operations had a great impact on global public opinion and in the Middle East and Turkey. The Turkish government media tried to show the opposite of the current facts, but they did not achieve any success.” Results in this regard, as the scenes of the operations fully revealed the truth. The Guerrilla operations had a great impact on Turkey from the political, military, diplomatic and social aspects. In Turkey, the Turkish people protested against the state. At the same time, their soldiers, who occupy southern Kurdistan, are morally demoralized and suffering from fear.”

'Contemporary Guerrilla will make their mark on history in the face of NATO's power'

“This victory is the victory of the modern Guerrilla.” With this definition, Hamid drew attention to the methods and movements of the People Defense Forces fighters, and said: “The modern Guerrilla exploit the weather and natural conditions very well against their enemy. It is shown in the video footage how they move in the snow in professional ways and deal strong blows to their enemies. And in the face of a North NATO force Atlantic, the modern guerrilla will make their mark on history. The Turkish state can no longer wage war against the Kurdistan freedom fighters and deceive public opinion. Turkish domestic public opinion is out of their control. There will be more voices against the Turkish state government, who will say that this war it has no meaning.

Turkish state partnership plan

Niyaz Hamid stated that after the victory achieved by the Guerrilla, the Turkish occupation state wants to make the governments of Iran and Iraq and the mercenaries of the Kurdistan Democratic Party partners with it. Regarding the details of this plan, Hamid said: “There are some obstacles in front of them. The Kurdistan Democratic Party cannot confront the Guerrilla alone, as it does not have that power. For that, the Kurdistan Democratic Party wants to find another partner among the Kurdish forces, such as the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan. The party is practicing the Kurdistan Democratic Party and the Turkish state put pressure on the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan to involve the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan in the war. The Turkish government asks both Iran and the Iraqi government to attack the areas of Makhmour, Shengal, and the legitimate defense areas of Mediya. The strength of the Iraqi government is so weak that it was unable to fight ISIS/ Daesh, so how Will you fight against the modern Guerrilla? The Iraqi government is well aware of this fact. But Turkey wants to use the Kurdistan Democratic Party and the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan in the war against the Guerrilla as it did in 1990. In 2011, Iran and Turkey agreed to attack Qandil. We have seen how the Iranian army failed in This plan. After the defeat, it asked for peace from the Guerilla and they surrendered indirectly. Currently, it also does not want war from the Guerilla again. For this reason, the Turkish state wants to involve the Kurdistan Democratic Party directly in the war. The people do not accept that and oppose them.”

With these words, Niyaz Hamid stated that the Kurdistan Democratic Party will try to justify its attacks on the Guerilla through these scenarios, and he said: “The Turkish state may target several sites of the Kurdistan Democratic Party with its reconnaissance jets and tanks, and the Kurdistan Democratic Party will say that the Guerrilla did that. These scenarios are ready and I believe that it will be implementated within a few days.

After the plan fails, the Turkish state will demand a peace process’

The specialist in Middle East affairs, Niyaz Hamid, noted that if the Turkish government’s plan to join Iran, the Iraqi government, and the Kurdistan Democratic Party in the war against the Guerrilla fails, it will be forced to demand a peace process, and he said: “As Mr. Jamil Bayik said in 2021, “If negotiations begin, there must be there is a third party such as the United Nations and the European Union.” In the period between the years 2013-2015, there were some discussions, but they were ended by the government of the Justice and Development Party and the National Movement Party. Therefore, there must be a third party for the new peace process. This is why it must remove the name of the Kurdistan Workers’ Party from the terrorist list and releasing leader Abdullah Ocalan.”
