More Turkish forces eliminated in new operations by Gêrîla forces
The Martyr Dogan Zinar unit of the People's Defense Forces (HPG) carried out two air operations against the Turkish occupation army in Zap, within the Medya defense areas, S. Kurdistan. The operations resulted in the killing of one soldier, the destruction of three positions, and a surveillance camera system.
The HPG's media center issued a statement to the public today regarding the two air operations carried out in Zap. The statement read:
"Our forces from the Martyr Dogan Zinar unit bombed the occupiers' bases from the air between August 18 and 24 in the Martyr Delil area, west of Zap. Two air operations were carried out against the occupiers in the Amadiya area and the resistance area of Bahar Hill, resulting, as far as we could ascertain, in the killing of one soldier, the injury of another, the destruction of three positions and a surveillance camera system, and the striking of four tents belonging to the Turkish occupation army.”
