MMC repels two infiltration attempts, resulting in the death of 8 mercenaries
The fighters of the Manbij Military Council MMC confronted two infiltration attempts by Turkish occupation mercenaries, resulting in the death of 8 mercenaries and the injury of 10 others.
The Media Center of the Manbij Military Council announced the thwarting of two infiltration attempts by Turkish occupation mercenaries this morning, Wednesday, into the village of "Um Jalood" in the countryside of Manbij.
The media center indicated that violent clashes erupted while responding to the first infiltration attempt, resulting in the death of three mercenaries and the injury of five others, as a preliminary toll, while the rest fled.
The media center's statement added: "A second attempt was made by the mercenaries to retrieve the bodies of their dead, but our forces, the Manbij Military Council, were on high alert and once again thwarted the mercenaries' attempt."
The statement continued: "Our fighters showed great resistance against them, resulting in the death of five more mercenaries, bringing their total casualties to eight mercenaries, while five others were also injured, and the remaining ones fled once again."
