The Media Center of the Syrian Democratic Forces published a statement on its official website regarding an operation carried out by the Manbij Military Council against points of the Turkish occupation mercenaries in the western countryside of Manbij city.

The statement indicated that many successful operations were carried out by military formations of the Syrian Democratic Forces, targeting the headquarters and positions of the Turkish occupation and its mercenaries in the occupied areas of northern Syria.

It confirmed that it came as a legitimate response to the occupation's assaults, attacks, crimes, and massacres it has committed: "The latest being the massacre of the village of 'Al-Fatisa,' east of the town of Ain Issa, carried out by the occupation on October 20, 2024, against our people, which claimed the lives of three children, as well as the ongoing massacres against our forcibly displaced people in the regions of Shahba, and in retaliation for our martyr comrades in the village of 'Abduki,' in the western countryside of the occupied city of Tal Abyad."

The media center reported that among the operations, the Manbij Military Council forces carried out an operation on November 24, targeting points of the Turkish occupation mercenaries in the village of "Bouhij al-Ajami," west of the city of Manbij. The operation included raids, sniping, and destruction of the mercenaries' positions and military vehicles, as well as seizing their weapons.

The statement also mentioned: "The operation, which was carried out successfully, targeted a high-value objective. Our forces infiltrated deep into the mercenaries' positions and engaged them, causing unparalleled terror and confusion. Many of them attempted to escape from our fighters' strikes, but they fell into other ambushes that had been prepared in advance."

Our fighters, who maintained the initiative of the attack since the beginning of the clashes, continued to decimate the enemy's mercenaries and prevented them from getting back on their feet. Their attempts to flee did not help them survive, as most of the dead bodies fell into our forces' hands after most of the mercenaries were killed inside and outside the military points. This occurred amidst their complete surrender, collapse in morale, and fighting spirit, and the escaping their leaders.

As a result of the operation and according to the statement, 17 mercenaries were killed, including leaders, and six others were seriously injured. Additionally, two military vehicles and three military headquarters were destroyed, and nine pieces of weaponry were seized, including launchers, a quantity of ammunition, identification documents, and the mercenaries' phones.

The Media Center of the Syrian Democratic Forces stated in its statement: "These mercenaries from the remnants of the terrorist organization 'ISIS,' who spread corruption in the region, humiliated our people, and inflicted suffering on them in the city of Al-Bab, where massive protests erupted against their terrorist practices, have met their just fate and a wretched end."

It confirmed that the fighters participating in the operation returned safely to their positions without any losses among their ranks after the operation concluded and its objectives were achieved.
