Mazloum Abdi commented on the final statement of the Aqaba meetings, and affirmed his support for what was contained therein, especially the decision to stop military operations on all Syrian territory.

The Commander-in-Chief of the Syrian Democratic Forces, Mazloum Abdi, welcomed what was stated in the final statement of the Aqaba meetings in Jordan of foreign ministers regarding Syria.

Mazloum Abdi wrote on the X platform: “We welcome the final statement of the Aqaba summit of foreign ministers of the Arab Ministerial Committee on Syria, and we praise the effective Arab role in bringing Syria to safety.”

Mazloum Abdi added: “We stress the need to stop military operations, in accordance with what was stated in the final statement, on all Syrian territory, as an essential step to pave the way towards a constructive dialogue that leads to building a new Syria.”

Mazloum Abdi stressed that the stability of Syria begins with the involvement of all parties and ensuring its territorial integrity, which paves the way towards sustainable peace.

Yesterday, in the city of Aqaba in southern Jordan, meetings were held to discuss the latest developments in Syria, with the participation of foreign ministers from a group of Arab and foreign countries. The meeting stressed many points, most notably the completion of a political process led by the Syrians in accordance with Resolution 2254, and the solidarity of the Syrian people with all its components, sects and Political powers and social efforts to build a free, safe, stable and unified Syria, and the necessity of immediately stopping all military operations.
