Massive demonstration in Euphrates in support of SDF

People from all communities of Euphrates Canton in North and East Syria joined the march, reaffirming the continued support of the region’s residents for the SDF and adherence to the Autonomous Administration’s project as a fundamental solution to the Syrian crisis.

The march began at the Free Woman’s Square in the city of Kobani, where participants carried pictures of leader Abdullah Ocalan alongside the flags of the SDF, while chanting slogans such as “Resistance is life,” “Long live the resistance of the Syrian Democratic Forces,” and “No life without the leader.”

The march concluded at Peace Square, where it turned into a mass gathering. The event began with a minute of silence, followed by a speech delivered by Farhan Haj Issa, the Co-Chair of the Democratic Autonomous Administration of Euphrates Canton. He stated: “We support the SDF, for they represent us and our identity,” stressing that the SDF embodies the essence of human values and includes all Syrian components.

Farhan added that the SDF comprises Kurds, Arabs, Syriacs, and other components of Syrian society, saying: “The Syrian Democratic Forces are fighting battles to protect Syria from enemies. Since they are committed to safeguarding every individual and preserving human identity, it is our duty to support them with all our capabilities and stand by them as allies.”

The mass gathering concluded with chants of “Resistance is life” and “Long live the resistance of the SDF.”
