On the occasion of 1 February, the Global Day of Support for Rojava, thousands of Kurds and their supporters took part in large-scale public marches across the four parts of Kurdistan, north, south, east, and west; as well as across Europe, in nearly 100 locations worldwide, expressing solidarity with Rojava and support for its resistance.

In Northern Kurdistan and Turkey, and under the leadership of the Platform of Democratic Institutions, marches were organized in several cities, including Amed (Diyarbakir), Van, the town of Suruç in Urfa, the town of Cizre in Şırnak, as well as the city of Istanbul. Hundreds of thousands of people participated with a spirit of democratic national unity, raising slogans saluting the resistance of Rojava and affirming popular solidarity with it.

Several cities in Southern Kurdistan also witnessed large mass marches, during which participants expressed their support for the resistance of the Kurdish people in confronting ongoing attacks, stressing the importance of Kurdish unity at this critical stage.

At the same time, public squares in many European cities were unified through solidarity marches, where demonstrators raised slogans calling for Kurdish unity, demanding an end to the attacks on Rojava, and calling for guarantees of Kurdish rights within the Syrian constitution.

These events come as part of a continuing popular movement aimed at highlighting the cause of the Kurdish people in Rojava and strengthening international solidarity with the Kurdish people and their legitimate rights.
