Looting, theft of citizens’ property in occupied Afrin countryside

Armed men affiliated with the Turkish occupation’s mercenaries raided the homes of residents in the village of Bozika, in Janders city, in the occupied Afrin countryside, during which they looted the belongings of the locals.

The village of Bozika in Janders city, located in the occupied Afrin countryside, witnessed a large-scale raid last night carried out by masked gunmen affiliated with the Turkish occupation’s mercenaries, according to local residents.

According to the Human Rights Organization – Afrin/Syria, dozens of masked armed men stormed civilians' homes and forced them to leave under the pretext of conducting search operations. However, after the residents returned to their homes, they discovered that they had fallen victim to an organized looting operation that included gold, jewelry, US dollars, as well as some furniture and other personal belongings.

The crimes of the Turkish occupation’s mercenaries continue in the areas they control, marked by chaos, lack of security, killings, looting, theft of citizens’ properties, all happening without any intervention or stance from the Syrian Interim Government authorities..
