Letters to Leader Ocalan as part of campaign demanding meeting with him

The Kongra Star organized an event in the Reading Garden in the town of Rmilan, with the participation of women from Girkê Legê and members of civil institutions. The event included writing letters to Leader Abdullah Ocalan demanding his physical freedom, within the framework of the campaign titled “I Want to Meet Abdullah Ocalan.”

During the event, participants reaffirmed their commitment to the thought and philosophy of Leader Abdullah Ocalan, considering his physical freedom to be the demand of every free woman. They wrote letters expressing their support and solidarity, voicing their hope that he will soon gain his freedom.

Meanwhile, Kongra Star issued a statement saying: “We, the members of Kongra Star in Girkê Legê, announce the writing of letters to Leader Abdullah Ocalan as part of the campaign ‘I Want to Meet the Leader.’ We send our greetings and love to the Leader in Imrali, and we pledge to follow his path in achieving peace, building a democratic society, and demanding the physical freedom of Leader Abdullah Ocalan.”

The written letters will be sent to Kongra Star, which will in turn undertake the process of delivering them to Leader Abdullah Ocalan in Imrali Prison.

The event concluded with chants demanding the freedom of Leader Abdullah Ocalan, reaffirming the continuation of the struggle until his goals are achieved.
