Lecture on March 8th affirms women's continued struggle to secure their rights

As part of the events organized to commemorate the International Women's Day (March 8th), the Kongra Star held a lecture at the Baqi Khedo Center for Culture and Art in Kobani, attended by dozens of women and men.

The lecture began with a welcoming address. After that, Peyman Aloush; the member of the Kongra Star Coordination, read the latest message of leader Abdullah Ocalan.

After reading the message, Roken Ahmed; the administrator in Kobani, congratulated the leader Abdullah Ocalan and all women struggling for freedom on the occasion of March 8th, saying: "Attacks have been launched against the region, and the enemy sought to break the will of women, but women have endured massacres. The enemy always tries to eradicate the democratic thought, but no one can destroy it. We, women, must strengthen ourselves further, and make every March 8th a day to continue our struggle and resistance even more strongly."

Roken also emphasized that March 8th is a day of struggle and resistance for women, and that all women should fight for freedom and their rights, transforming every day into March 8th.

The lecture concluded with the chants of "Women, life, freedom," and "No life without the leader."
