Latest developments on ground in southern, western Tabqa canton

SDF fighters in the western and southern parts of Tabqa canton, 35 km from the city center, are responding to fire from mercenaries of the Syrian Interim Government who violated the agreement in the eastern Aleppo countryside. This is accompanied by heavy overflights by coalition aircraft.

Clashes are ongoing in the western and southern countryside of Tabqa canton between SDF fighters and mercenaries of the Syrian Interim Government, according to ANHA correspondents.

According to information by ANHA correspondents from the area, fierce clashes erupted in areas south and west of Tabqa after these mercenaries targeted SDF fighters and violated the withdrawal agreement that was supposed to be in place in the eastern Aleppo countryside.

Reporters stated that the villages of Dibsi Afnan and the outskirts of al-Bu'asi, in the western part of the Tabqa canton, are witnessing intense clashes involving heavy and medium weapons between mercenaries and the SDF. The mercenaries also launched an attack on SDF positions in al-Thawra oil field in the southern part of the canton, which the SDF is repelling decisively.

The reporters indicated that the clashes in the western and southern areas are 35 kilometers from the city center of Tabqa.
