Today, the Kurdistan Coordination of the World March of Women - Middle East and North Africa published a written statement on its official social media platform regarding the "Women, Life, Freedom" uprising. They also expressed solidarity through a women's sit-in in the city of Qamishlo, in the region of NE Syria.

The statement read:

"Today, we honor the second anniversary of the martyrdom of Kurdish woman Jina Amini, whose spilled blood ignited a revolution that the forces of oppression could not extinguish. Every drop of her blood was a cry against darkness and tyranny.

The killing of Jina Amini was not merely an incident; it was a deliberate act aimed at breaking the free will of women and silencing the voice that echoes the slogan 'Jin, Jiyan, Azadî' (Women, Life, Freedom). This slogan, which has illuminated hearts worldwide, is not just words; it is a profound and radical message rejecting all forms of oppression and declaring that women's freedom is the foundation of the freedom of society as a whole. This revolutionary philosophy calls for building a society based on justice and dignity, free from authorities that oppress women or violate their life forces.

The Iranian regime, through its brutal repression, seeks to silence women and break their resolve. Yet, in the face of Jina Amini's flame and the women fighters in Iran, they confront an unstoppable force. The increasing death sentences against activists such as 'Bakhshan Azizi' and 'Sharifa Mohammadi' reveal the regime's fear of women's voices and its terror at the power of their will, which defies its tyranny. These unjust sentences will not weaken our resolve but will deepen our belief in the necessity of resistance.

Here, at Kurdistan Coordination of the World March of Women, we proudly and defiantly stand with every woman in Iran, declaring our unwavering solidarity with her struggle against this regime that seeks to strengthen its grip through executions and intimidation. The struggle of women in Iran is an inseparable part of the struggle of women in the Middle East and North Africa, a region long suffering under the oppression of dictatorial regimes and their desperate attempts to silence women's voices and extinguish their revolutions.

We affirm that solidarity among women in the region and the world is the power capable of bringing about change. We raise our voices and call for urgent international action to expose the practices of the Iranian regime, pressure for an end to death sentences, and the release of detainees. The international community cannot remain silent or complicit with this regime, as its silence is participation in the crime of silencing women.

The struggle for women's freedom is not limited to confronting the Iranian regime but is an ongoing battle against all forms of enslavement imposed on women. We fully understand that our unity and solidarity are the means to confront these oppressive regimes. As women's organizations, we must develop joint strategies to combat this repression. We must understand that our struggle today is not only for the women of Iran but a global struggle for freedom and dignity.

On this anniversary, we raise the slogan 'Jin, Jiyan, Azadî' with hearts full of determination and defiance. This slogan, which has become a revolutionary symbol, inspires our struggle and empower our resolve. We will not bow to any regime seeking to break women's will, and we will not stop demanding our rights. We will continue the struggle, inspired by Jina Amini and every martyr who fought until their last breath.

In conclusion, we send our message to the Iranian regime: Brutal executions will not intimidate women or silence their voices. The revolution continues, the struggle intensifies, and the blood of the martyrs will remain the light that guides us toward freedom.”
