A Kurdish worker was killed by Iranian forces on the Baljuk border in Urmia province while transporting goods, according to the Kolbar News website.

Kolbar News reported today that Kurdish worker Rasul Qalandari, 21, from the Qotur district of Khoy city, was killed after being shot by Iranian forces on the Baljuk border in Urmia province.

The website stated that Iranian forces opened fire directly on a group of workers transporting goods without any prior warning, seriously wounding Rasul Qalandari.

It added that Iranian forces approached the wounded worker and shot him three times in the head, killing him instantly.

According to the source, Rasoul Qalandari was married and a father of two children, one of whom was three years old, while the other was no more than five months old.
